Gianni Botsford has been invited to give at talk at the Manchester School of Architecture as part of the Time and Context in Architecture Symposium. Other speakers include David Connor (David Connor Design), Fred Scott, Hana Loftus (HAT Projects), Hugh Strange (Hugh Strange Architects) and Shin Egashira.
The symposium will take place at 14:00 on Tuesday 8th March 2016 at the Manchester School of Architecture.

GBA have recently won an invited competition for the design of a new technology and research centre for a major mobile phone brand in Chengdu, China. The project totals 110,000m2 and comprises a 42 storey tower, a hotel, retail centre, spa and training centre. GBA are working with local Architects RJWu & Partners with whom they have collaborated with on a number of projects in Taiwan including the Hsinchu Stone Village Resort Hotel. The project forms the centrepiece of the new Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park and is expected to commence construction towards the end of 2015.
GBA have been commissioned to develop a concept design for a new family house located in Nassau, Bahamas.
GBA have been appointed to develop a family house close to Hampstead Heath, London. The dwelling is set over 3 floors which are partially sunken below street level. The interior spaces enjoy high daylight levels through optimally positioned top lighting, and also outlook onto the exterior garden courtyards.
The ground works for Garden House have begun in Notting Hill, London. The basement excavation is being undertaken from the top down with insitu concrete elements cast once the sufficient amount of london clay has been removed. The stair void and garden lightwell are now visible as penetrations through the ground floor slab.Related project → Garden House
